band, "Hurricane" Jay LaBoy & In Step as frontman/guitarist and group manager.

2010: traveled to Asia for a few months to play shows in Russia and Ukraine to support the release of the 2nd Acoustically Speaking CD. |

2010: played a show at the Ukranian House of Culture in Izmail, Ukraine benefiting AIDS awareness, anti-drugs and anti-alcohol. The band consisted of local
guitar professor, Yuri Panfilov, and three young musicians that Jay and Yuri taught
and rehearsed with specifically for the performance. (Musicians: Denis, Kostya and

2010: featured in two news articles in the Ukranian newspaper Izmail City. Both articles were written by Maestro Sergei Denisov. (see 1st article - see 2nd article) |

2010: held a Master Class for music teachers and students at the Izmail School of Art & Music. The class involved a Q&A session, a solo performance, band performance with Kostya, Vlad, Denis and Yuri and a jam session with highly regarded jazz musicians from the area including Maestro Sergei Denisov. |

2010: featured on the Ukranian television program "Melomania" in a half
hour special focused on Jay's musical styles and performances in the Ukraine. The
show consisted of an interview, photos from various shows in America and abroad
and video clips from rehearsals, jam sessions and performances in Izmail, Ukraine.
